This tiny board act as a HAT for the GBS-8220. It allows to use the Gbs-control software that replaces the original control software and optimizes the Trueview5725 processor for the task of upscaling “240p” 15kHz content. The GBS-Control software is made by Robert Neumann among others.
PCB including the PLCC socket soldered and sanded.
Wemos D1 soldered.
You need to flash/program the WEMOS D1 with the required firmware available here.
https://github.com/ramapcsx2/gbs-control (instructions are available on the wiki project https://github.com/ramapcsx2/gbs-control/wiki).
On the GBS board you will need to short the jumper P8 (debug jumper).
The firmware is made using the Arduino IDE so you will need to proper setup your Arduino IDE in order to work with ESP8266 devices.
