Description
The joyster is a 4-1 device that allows to use it on multiple configurations on Amiga/C64/Atari. The board includes the next functionalities:
- AMIGA/ATARI/C64 JOYPORT TEST
- EXTERNAL JOYSTICK TESTER
- AUTOFIRE PASSTHROUGH
- STANDALONE JOYSTICK
AMIGA/ATARI/C64 JOYPORT TEST: By plugging it on the computer, and via software, you can test each of the direction signals and even the two buttons. Includes a led that indicates which signal is active on the moment. Also on backwards, since THE JOYSTER includes 6 buttons, you can see on the software which direction or fire button is hitted realtime.
EXTERNAL JOYSTICK TESTER: You can plug your favorite joystick on the DB9 connector and test all the directions and also the buttons. This function required external power supply (use an android like charger).
AUTOFIRE PASSTHROUGH: Add the autofire functionality to your favorite joystick, you just plug THE JOYSTER between your computer and your joystick, set the autofire switch on and you got autofire feature!.
STANDALONE JOYSTICK: Since its includes 6 buttons (4 directions, two fire buttons) he can act as an standalone joystick.
The joyster is a custom development that I have designed from ground.
