This little board allows to capture the serial output from the diagrom to any serial client on windows / linux , etc. It has a usb serial controller and a rs232 converter in order to make it compatible with all the serial ports of the amiga’s. It’s great for those who want to repair boards.
Does not require any driver (at least on windows) just plug in on the amiga, connect to the usb and then use programs like putty to capture the output. On windows to know the port number assigned go to System – Device administration – COM ports and get the port number.
Then setup putty on serial connection, put the COMNumber, 9600 speed and then hit Open.
You will start seeing the diagrom output.
The serial to usb converter.
Note: You will need an usb to micro usb cable (not included).
