Description

This is the Ultimate Floppy Emulator. This device can be used externally on an Amiga computer with a floppy port, also, this device can be used internally with the common floppy ribbon cable. The device does not require external power (it is self-powered). Supports USB flash drives and MicroSD cards as well (not at the same time). Includes a buzzer, a DF0-DF1 selector, and also supports rotary encoder (not included).

Oled screen 128×64 or 128×32 (Depending on current stock).

Might include a NOS DB23 male connector or a cut DB25 (depending on the stock).

Powered with the last version of the Keir FlashFloppy firmware.

Rotary encoder:

A simple KY-040 Encoder from Aliexpress can be added to the device to use directly without the push buttons.

Usage:

Follow the instructions of the Flashfloppy Firmware Wiki: https://github.com/keirf/FlashFloppy/wiki

Short version: Copy the AUTOBOOT.HFE file and the HXCSDFE.CFG files from the FlashFloppy ZIP to the root of your USB or Microsd. Copy the ADF’s and you are done. Plugin on the back on the Amiga and it will start booting from there. It may need to switch between DF0-1 with the selector. Also on the A1200 Escom version, you need to remove the “fix” from the a1200 to use this device.

Compatibility:

This device is shipped with the Keir Flash Floppy Firmware but also can work with the HXC firmware. Only the Microsd could not work with the HXC version.
